Life As A Young Military Spouse! 2
We need to be. We have the grocery store. We have gas station and I know. One thing I can say. It is really hard to make friends at least for me there's otherwise here. That just want to be. All around their husband which. That was I first got here. I I wanted to stay at home. I wanted to be with my husband. Because hello. I just left my family behind. I I am really scared and it's okay to be scared but make. Some friends. They don't it'll help.
You out so much or you have the wives. That just want to be friends with the wives in your husband's shop or you have the ones who just want to gossip and read drama. I don't want to elaborate too much on this but spouses or anyone really can interpret. Something so innocent and turn. It into something so crazy and traumatic and just wanna start drama so stay away from them and let them rent somewhere else. You decided to get married. You decided to grow up so. I feel like the military lacks on keeping the spouses happy like not happy. I don't think that's the word I'm use to making a community out of them yeah.
They have the Facebook pages oh by the way join the Facebook pages around your station your duty station. It really helped out a lot. You want to sell. Something or if you're looking for events happening near. You that's really helpful and if. You have any questions. You can act on the Facebook page but anyways. I feel like. It really lacked on bringing the spouses together. They have a few things happening for the spouses but the thing is is they bring all the spouses together like older women. That have been in for like ten years I've only been for a couple years. I want to be around those people who have just gone in who have the same common interest in me and who have the same questions.
You know I am going to tell. You to get involved. I struggle with. That sometimes keep yourself busy by getting a job maybe volunteering on base or anywhere really or get dogs. I got to hear so yeah. That can be busy. I got a job my second year being here my first year. I just stayed at home. I was so bored. I kept the house clean and I had dinner ready every day from ads and once. You got one but you need to do stuff for you to just come. You follow him across the world doesn't mean. That your life stop your life can continue and your your dreams can have and - so. I got a job as a dental assistant and I am so happy. Because I made friends out of the military and two. They are local so. They help me out with things.
That are happening in Guam. It takes my mind off being away from family and my husband and I have new friends and it was the best decision I've ever made so make sure. You are happy -. We are hearing one for one more year and I'm going to make the most of it so. You are a military spouse around my age groups here on Guam please don't be afraid to email.
